French photographer Julien Knez wanted to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the liberation of Paris in August 1944 with a series of photographs. Thus, he integrated photographs of the time in present-day Paris by finding the exact places where they had been taken. Knez made sure the old photos are positioned as accurately as possible resulting in these historical scenes blending perfectly in contemporary Paris.
