These Vintage Photos of San Francisco Hippies Reveal the Carefree Lifestyle of Youths in the 1960s - 1970s

This series of vintage photos, taken by photographer William Gedney in 1966-67 captures the spirit of the streets at the time – from the peaceful hippies to the wild radicals.
