Abandoned Italian Castle Built in 1605 is Still as Exquisite as Ever

By | November 23, 2016

This castle in Tuscany, Italy, built in 1605, is like something from a folktale! From the stunning variety of tile mosaics to the arched Moorish doorways, this palace has been abandoned for decades.

Finally put up for auction in 2016, the intricate beauty of this Spanish-built castle will hopefully be put to good use in future. The castle still has its 400-year-old stained glass windows and rare historical tile intact. And it has 365 rooms which are each uniquely designed.
