Invented in the late 1940s, bullet bra is a full-support brassiere with paraboloid cups. The bras usually feature decorative spirals and concentric circle stitchings that are centered on the nipples.

Bullet bras became popular in the 1950s, usually worn with tight-fitting outergarments to accentuate the shape of the bra and enhance the curves of the wearer.
