Contents of Time Capsule Buried By Samuel Adams and Paul Revere in 1795

Back on July 4, 1795, Samuel Adams, the Governor of Massachusetts at the time, and Paul Revere put a time capsule inside the cornerstone of the Massachusetts State House. Though time capsules in cornerstones was a common practice, researchers had no reason to believe the cornerstone of the Massachusetts State House had one, so when workers discovered the box, it caused quite a stir.
