Transcripts From the 1969 Moon Mission Reveal the Toilet Trials of the Apollo Astronauts
Some unforeseen and unwanted occurrences were encountered by the astronauts according to the revelation from the records of NASA's Apollo 10 mission.
The transcripts from the Moon mission of 1969 shows that the spacemen had to deal with some ludicrous toilet-related issues.
It denotes that Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan had not completely been well-acquainted with utilization of the spacecraft’s bathroom facilities.
The dilemma was first acknowledged by the Commander (CDR), Mr Stafford, who mentioned: ‘Give me a napkin quick.
'There’s a turd floating through the air.’
John Young, the Command Module Pilot (CMP), responded: ‘I didn’t do it. It ain’t one of mine.’
Whereupon; Mr Cernan, the Lunar Module Pilot (LMP), added: ‘I don’t think it’s one of mine.’
Then Mr Stafford replied: ‘Mine was a little more sticky than that. Throw that away.’
