Freezing his bank accounts

A New York Judge named Arthur Engoron accepted a $175 million bond in the civil fraud case involving former President Donald Trump.

This approval prevents the New York Attorney General, Letitia James, from seizing Trump's assets or freezing his bank accounts. Previously, there was a bond requirement of almost half a billion dollars, which posed a risk of asset seizure.
