Following the unsuccessful attempt to oust Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House of Representatives, Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene maintained a defiant stance.

Her push to remove Mr. Johnson stemmed from his backing of a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine. Despite her efforts, both Democrats and Republicans united in a 359-43 vote to reject her motion.

Resounding boos

During Ms. Greene's address on the House floor, she faced resounding boos from fellow chamber members. Subsequently, she took to X, previously known as Twitter, to express her views, stating, "Democrats sided with Johnson as they understood the futility of seizing control of the House."
