Trump received a financial relief when a Manhattan appellate court allowed him to post a $175 million bond while he contests a substantial $454 million judgment, which was ruled by a state judge to be the result of ten years of bank fraud.

The appellate judges also granted Trump some leniency in the matter. As per the judges' ruling, Trump is not required to finalize his appeal until the September court term commences on September 3, which means all necessary documentation must be prepared for oral arguments by then.
