Suspect Arrested Over Bombing Outside Republican AG's Office

A man arrested for detonating an explosive device outside the office of Alabama Republican Attorney General Steve Marshall in February was found to have supported leftist political movements, as per the Department of Justice.

The 36-year-old individual, identified by investigators as endorsing the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and holding anti-police views, was charged with placing the explosive device outside Marshall's office in the early hours of February 24.

The explosion occurred at the junction of Washington Avenue and South Bainbridge Street in Montgomery, following reports of a suspicious package at the location.
